Dehydrated Chili

Yield: 1–2 servings (~650 cal)

Cooking Time: 10–12 minutes 

Notes: Rehydrates into a hearty, filling meal; perfect after a long day. 

Ingredients:

  • Main:

    • 1/2 cup dehydrated ground beef or TVP (textured vegetable protein)

    • 1/2 cup dehydrated beans

    • 2 tbsp tomato powder

    • 1 tsp chili powder

    • 1/2 tsp cumin

    • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • Extras:

    • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Boil about 1.5 cups water.

  2. Add all ingredients to pot, stir well.

  3. Simmer until everything is fully rehydrated and thickened.

  4. Season to taste.
